The Birzeit Society Board of Directors voted to hold the Birzeit Tenth National Convention in Orlando, Florida during the first week of July 2010.

The Board also voted in its annual meeting in February 2009 to appoint the current President of Florida Chapter, Mr. Khaled Kassis, as Chairman of the Convention and authorized him to plan and organize the program with the Convention Committee.

Plans are underway by the Convention Committee to build an exciting program filled with social events, cultural activities, renowned speakers and indoor and outdoor fun excursions to suit all ages. 

Search is underway to find a resort location for the Convention, which will include exciting events and world-renowned theme parks and attractions, such as Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and Typhoon Lagoon. 

Children and adults alike will enjoy a day at Disney World, including the iconic Mickey Mouse, Cinderella's Castle, and famous attractions like Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean and Magic Kingdom, the most magical, nostalgic, and kid-friendly Park on Disney property. 

Orlando’s proximity to world-class beaches and Cruise Line outlets enables the Convention Committee to contemplate the addition of a Caribbean cruise to the program to start right after the Convention’s main program.
